Week 8 (May 17-May 24)

Meet Spud! Spud’s chant is “Hip Hop Don’t Stop!”. Spud loves to dance! Spud knows how important it is to dance and move regularly and that dance is a way to release feelings in a constructive and artistic manner.

 

If you are able, please print Spud’s coloring card out for your families to color, share, and post on the fridge as a friendly reminder to express yourself through dance everyday!

 

 

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Yoga Dance Flow”.

Week 9 (May 25-May 31)

Meet Sparks! Sparks’ chant is “Downward Dog, Dawg!”. Sparks loves Yoga and knows the importance of having a regular yoga practice and how it supports a healthy and energized body and mind! 

If you are able, please print Sparks’s coloring card out for your families to color, share, and post on the fridge as a friendly reminder to practice yoga regularly to support a healthy body and mind in a fun and energizing way.

 

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Downward Dog, Dawg Yoga Practice”.

Week 10 (June 1-June 7)

Meet Tux! Tux’s chant is “Unique Not Weak”. Tux is alternatively abled. He is penguin that is missing a flipper. Tux shares with us the power of finding strength in our supposed weakness and the importance of celebrating our differences everyday!

Week 11 (June 8 - June 14)

Meet Louie! Louie’s chant is “Go Green! It’s Cool and Clean!”. Louie loves our planet and he shares with us the benefits of honoring our Earth.

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Go Green Yoga Practice” practice.

Week 12 (June 15-June 21)

Meet Zoe! Zoe’s chant is “Respect & Reflect”. Zoe shares with us the benefits of mindfulness and recognizing one another’s value so that we make choices that are kind and caring.

 

If you are able, please print Zoe’s coloring card out for your families to color, share, and post on the fridge as a friendly reminder to think twice before we react to a situation.

 

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Respect and Reflect Yoga Flow”.

Week 13 (June 22-June 28)

Meet Ella! Ella’s chant is “Rest is the Best”. Ella loves to sleep and she shares with the value of getting a good night’s sleep.

 

If you are able, please print Ella’s coloring card out for your families to color, share, and post on the fridge as a friendly reminder to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night in order to be well rested and recharged everyday!  

 

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Sleepy Slow Yoga Flow”

Week 14 (June 29 - July 1)

Meet Olly! Olly’s chant is “Namaste Everyday!”. Olly shares Namaste is not a superficial gesture or a mere word, it is a way of showing respect and that you are equal to one another. It is used with all people one meets, from young and old to friends and strangers.

If you are able, please print the Violet’s coloring card out for your families to color, share, and post on the fridge as a friendly reminder to meditate when you need to calm and center ourselves.

Our yoga practice for this week is called “Meditation Yoga” practice.
